The practice holds two clinics weekly, run by the community midwives from North Manchester General Hospital which are on a:
Tuesday afternoon: 13:30 - 16:00
Wednesday all day: 09:00 - 13:00 and 13:30 - 16:00 for ante-natal appointments, please contact the practice.
Community District Nursing
The surgery’s district nursing team is based at Cheetham Primary Care Clinic and carry out home visits for patients requiring medical attention in the home. This service is accessed by hospital and GP referral.

Community Active Case Managers

Morning After Pill
This is obtainable through the NHS England approved pharmacists a list is available at reception on request.

Practice Nurses are available to carry out cervical smears for all ladies registered at the practice. Government guidelines advise all ladies aged between 25 years and 65 years of age are screened regularly. For ladies aged between 25 years and 49 years they recommend 3 yearly recalls and ladies aged between 50 years and 65 years five yearly recall. The guidelines are based on previous normal results, ladies with previous abnormal smear results will be advised on a patient specific basis.
The practice baby clinic is a weekly services run by the community health visitors (based at Cheetham Primary Care Clinic), GPs and practice nursing team. The clinic is for well babies and is a walk in clinic for drop ins, scheduled development checks, immunisations and advice.
Clinic runs on a Tuesday morning between 08:30am - 11:30pm
Travel Immunisations and Advice
The practice nursing team offers the administration of advised travel vaccines with the exception of yellow fever. This is a free clinic excluding ACWY vaccines (Hajj injection) where a fee is required for certification.

Minor Ailment Scheme – Feel Better Fast Scheme:
Many minor complaints can be treated through this service and are accessed by visiting your local pharmacy.
If you require help to quit smoking, please book with the healthcare assistant, advice and Nicotine Replacement Treatments. The Nicotine Replacement treatments can also be obtained through NHS England approved Pharmacies.
